2 Information Sharing

  1. Review partner description update status: CompuCorps follow-up- I have a new contact person (old one moved to Toronto). They did a Linked-in video marketing campaign over the summer. They seem fine with the description, Computer Reach approved the changes, and provided an updated logo. Web pages updated Nov 4. AZStRUT updated 12 October.
  2. Net Inclusion Webinars completed. Recordings at https://www.digitalinclusion.org/net-inclusion-2020-webinar-series/ 
  3. Milwaukee initiative : Barry had a follow-up call with Nicole of COA on 13 October. Will be moving forward. Follow-up email to Everyone on, responded 10/14 that something would be scheduled, but hasn’t happened yet. Barry sent follow-up prompt on Nov 4, Meeting November 9. Gaining connections. Targeting launch Q1 2021
  4. Have people seen this data? — https://www.census.gov/data/tables/2020/demo/hhp/hhp17.html#tables All tables show data for the nation, each of the fifty states, plus Washington, D.C., and the fifteen largest metropolitan areas.

  6. Gifts for Angela & Partners- Barry ordered a plant for delivery to Angela on Oct 13
  7. Updating Partner info — C2SDK & C4K. See Latest two updates to read through, make suggestions, then we can contact the organizations to run it past them. We noticed a logo and acronym change on one and want to mention the Net Inclusion webinar recordings since they were going to go to their first Net Inclusion conference.
  8. Radio interview with Art Ware, pre-recording November 19th for airing November 22
  9. NDIA subscribers trivia night Nov 19th 4pm CST
  10. Partner Status- Laptops4Kids has gone dark and been removed as a partner
  11. Connecting Washtenaw migrant workers

3 Action Item Status Updates

Walking through Action Item List and noting updates. In the minutes, this will record items closed during meeting. 

  1. Closed – Did one. Opened 7/24/20: Have a google ad for ‘When buying a laptop  for your child for school, donate one for a child who needs one’ Barry
  2. Closed – Opened 8/21/20: Barry will check with David about seeing which of our partners are affiliated with NDIA and/or AFTR.
  3. Closed – Opened 10/9/20: Provide small appreciation gifts for partners. Snacks to AZsTRUT, plant to Angela (sent 10/20).
  4. Closed 11/12/20. Opened 10/9/20: Ask David to check the links in experience papers. He finished and Katherine updated the experience pages as needed.
